Honey Exports: Tripura’s Mustard Honey Reaches Dubai for the First Time

Tripura has recently achieved a significant milestone in its agricultural export journey, with its first-ever mustard honey shipment reaching Dubai. The honey exports consignment of one metric tonne was exported by the Dergang Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO), which marks the entry of Tripura’s mustard honey into an international market.

Moreover, the development is expected to create new opportunities for local farmers and boost the state’s beekeeping sector. The export was facilitated by the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), which has been working to connect unique agricultural products from the Northeast with overseas markets.
